He has been a private tutor in Chemistry, Maths and Biology in Stirling for over 4 years.
During this time he has provided support and guidance to enable students to achieve their goals and perform to their full potential. Jamie takes the time to get to know each student and their learning needs and work alongside them to develop achievable goals and to deliver sessions suited to their preferred learning style.
He also has a wealth of experience coaching children and young adults of all ages in a sporting capacity, which has involved a great deal of planning and implementation to suit individual needs.
Planning well in advance is the key to success. Delivering large amounts of work in a short period of time can have a negative impact on the individuals learning experience. Planning and breaking down the course into manageable portions in realistic timescales will ensure that the material being taught can be consolidated successfully. Each tutoring session will have a goal before moving onto the next to prevent information overload, which again can have a negative impact on learning. The tutoring sessions will be fun, but will also be very structured and focused on the end result which is to improve the individual's knowledge in the subject and to pass their exams.
Tuition sessions can take place in the comfort of the students home, or alternative arrangements can be made.
